Literature and Poetry Guidelines

*We will be accepting submissions from November 27, 2025 to February 14, 2026.

*All works must be original

*Any style, genre, form, etc will be considered.

*Works must be capped at 5000 words

*This may include up to 3 works by any one author 

*An excerpt of a longer work is acceptable but must be self-contained

*Typed using Arial font size 11, though other fonts can be accepted for stylistic reasons.

(Editorial Staff may reformat the work with permission. This will ensure a consistency during the layout process)

*Please include content warnings and an author’s suggested appropriate audience age

(General Audiences, Mature Audiences, All Ages, Young Adult, Adult – for example)

*Submission is not a guarantee of publication

*We are exclusive to New England, with preference towards Merrimack Valley Authors
